Brand profile

PANTA is an artist and booking agency: management, tour planning and representation for names from comedy, cabaret and entertainment – Sascha Grammel, Thorsten Havener, Ildikó von Kürthy, Nicole Jäger and others.

An agency like this speaks to two sides at once, and each expects the opposite of the other. Promoters want to see reliability: who is on the roster, how booking works, who to talk to. Performers want the opposite of administration – a company that takes their stage seriously and does not present itself like a staffing agency.

Project definition

The site had to hold that balance: serious enough for the tour planning of major venues, alive enough for people who stand on a stage. On top of that comes a practical requirement that matters day to day – the roster changes, programmes change, dates move. An agency that has to call someone for every change does not keep its site current.

Scope of work

Logo, visual identity, website and advertising.

Brief

A booking agency addresses two sides at once: performers looking for trust, and promoters who need to find the right act quickly. We developed the brand, the website and the print materials, and built the roster so that it serves both routes.

The solution

A logo with a stage

The identity and logo are deliberately dark and high in contrast – closer to stage lighting than to an office. The brand steps back where the performers stand, and is nonetheless recognisable everywhere.

Artist profiles that stand on their own

Every name gets a page of its own with image, programme and contact – built to the same pattern, but without anyone reading as an entry in a list. The roster grows and shrinks; the structure carries both without a page having to be rebuilt.

Two audiences, two routes

Management and booking are separate paths, because different questions sit behind them. Someone planning a tour is looking for something other than someone booking a single evening – neither should have to read through the other’s part first.

Advertising

Advertising for programmes and tours, in the same hand as the website. With live events, ticket sales are often decided within a few weeks – the design has to be recognised immediately, not on second glance.

Outcome

A site that shows promoters reliability and leaves performers their stage – and a roster that is allowed to change without anyone having to touch the layout each time.
